Designing Training Program to Solve Competencies Gap in Non-Managerial Level, Low Management Level, and Middle Management Level at PT Frolant

Competencies gap is now becoming a common problem in Indonesia. Research done by the World Bank 2019 shows that one of reasons for competencies limited opportunities on-the-job training, only 5% workforce reported receiving formal training. One companies Indonesia experiences PT Frolant. Frolant manufacturer instant food and drinks The shown from low internal readiness company, employees don’t have required especially higher positions Supervisor Manager. proposed solution to solve designing new training programs. process program included conducting need analysis, design based on competency, using Kirkpatrick Model evaluate program. research findings show company needs do several improvements order create can gap. Those including aligning competency standards with organizational goals design; use tools be better identifying gap; differentiate between soft skill hard or strategic knowledge operational training; perform all four steps evaluating Designing programs aims help improving employee performance will further improve performance.
